About the Role
Cartography is the science of making maps. As our Maps Ops Associate based in Singapore, you will get to be a part of the Cartography team that designs maps catered to our user's needs, and provides geospatial insights across the company. Working closely with the product and engineering teams, you will be handed the reins in improving our map data by conducting research and quality assessments of local insights. The latest cutting edge map technology will be at your fingertips. Your efforts will make a direct impact on the accuracy of addresses, pick-up points, routes, and ETAs shown on all of our Gojek maps.

At Gojek, the Cartography team makes maps fit for its customer’s needs and provides geospatial insights across the company. At the heart of Gojek’s businesses, we move things around. Whether that’s people, food, packages, or fresh groceries moving things around boils down to understanding the best route, understanding traffic, and understanding locations. The Cartography team is a platform team that surfaces mapping technologies needed by all internal product teams and business units within Gojek.
The Maps Ops team within Cartography is based all around the region. We are a small and tight-knit team that takes great pride in delivering high-quality data. As a team, we’re focused on growing our maps using machine learning, engineering automation, strong operations, and emphasize professional development around these areas. As a team, we share a love for daily afternoon tea/coffee breaks and competing in friendly online gaming battles.
