We are seeking a strategic and innovative Product Manager to own 2-3 product streams with minimal support from the manager. To succeed in this role, you must be a thought leader, a driver and help shape the overall direction as well as key deliverables. You would ensure that product decisions are based on strong logical rigour and in-depth analysis and value data over opinions. You need to be a great storyteller, able to build a strong product narrative which clearly articulates the motivation for the project, goals and path to success. Develop innovative growth hacks to drive user growth and engagement for GoPay via all channels and marketing programs. Understand the various components and drivers of growth, along with trends (such as traffic, conversion, user engagement and repeat behavior) and create actionable programs leading to user growth.
Define, lead and execute holistic strategy to work towards business goals; collaborate across regions, product areas and functionsOwns 2-3 streams of your product group and also define own workload and the workload of other junior PMs working in the teamAggregates and assesses product feedback and feature requests to identify unmet customer needs and opportunitiesLeverage user research, usability studies, market research, experiments and data analysis and translate them into requirements that solve real problems for a large set of usersIdentify cross-product and cross-functional strategic opportunities to create a better platform experience for customersIn partnership with design/research team facilitates problem solving/co-design sessionsConsistently increases the quality and reliability of products and devotes time to polishing products and systemsLeads and facilitates cross-stream meetings with cross-functional stakeholdersActively builds trust and teamwork and resolves sensitive issues within their product stream(s) Participates in the hiring process by interviewing candidates, submitting referrals, attending recruiting events and/or presenting externallyProactively shares information, actively solicits feedback and facilitates communication for multiple stakeholdersMentors PM on a 1:1 basis or through group workshops
Experience and Skills
At least 4 years of product management experience to independently drive the roadmap and strategy for 2-3 streamsYou have the ability to break down complex problems, identify use cases and solutions that can be reused across multiple areasIs able to understand business problems (for their steam(s)) and recommend product solutionsDemonstrates a nuanced understanding of data, design & research, software engineering and business processes and partners effectively with those teamsYou’re fluent in English and have strong communication and presentation skills. You know how to build trust, set goals and get things done. You communicate product requirements through your design skillsStrong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, featuresHigh attention to detail, ability to insist on high standards, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervisionExcellent inter-team working skills to develop strong partnership with partner, tech team and operating at leadership levelsWork experience in the internet / eCommerce / Financial / Payments industry is preferred
