About the Role
As our Head of Research for the Financial Services Platform, you'll take the wheel in spearheading and managing a talent troop of researchers for Gojek's Financial Services vertical - GoFinance (or GoFin for short). Specifically, you'll oversee three pillars within this domain: consumer lending, merchant lending, and savings & insurance. Reporting to the Head of Customer Value Management, you'll collaborate with the Product, Design, and Marketing teams to develop research roadmaps, and utilize the research you find to lay out effective and well-tested product & marketing strategies. You'll inspire various internal stakeholders to incorporate and utilize research insights for their respective work, ensuring everyone is able make well-researched, data-driven decisions for the company.
About the Team
Our Research & Insights team, a subsidiary of the larger GoFin team, is a small family of 6 researchers based in Jakarta, Indonesia. As a crucial component of the company's product & marketing strategy, we advocate for the use of research as a means to gain in-depth understanding of our customers, to solve issues that arise within GoFin, and to be a thought leader in the industry. Working alongside the Product, Design, and Marketing teams, we work to ensure that user insights are always at the heart of our product development and marketing communications. For instance, should you have a question about what factors entice users to continue using PayLater, we are your people! Currently, our team has been hard at work uncovering the perception users have for PayLater, which will help Gojek build a stronger customer lending proposition.
When we aren't busy digging through a sea of data and connecting various dots, you could probably find us playing badminton, swimming, jamming out to K-Pop, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, going on (safe) adventures around our city, or just being good-ole homebodies watching Netflix at home. While we may have different hobbies, one thing is certain: we're a tight-knit group who genuinely enjoys each other's company.
