About the Role:
Fasten your helmet and climb aboard if you’re ready to be our Decision Scientist. In this role, you will be an integral player within the GoFood data science team based in India. Focusing heavily on (the areas of growth and monetisation along with content quality, you will (employ) statistical techniques, design of experiments, and machine learning to design and develop/improve existing data solutions in the GoFood team. The data scientists and BI analysts in the growth and monetisation team(s) will be your companions on this ride. Your efforts will directly influence (the experience we provide to our GoFood customers).
About the team:
Our (Growth and Monetisation DS team) is a family of (4 Data scientists and 1 BI Analyst) spread over Singapore, Indonesia and our India offices. We run the data science division of GoFood). We oversee all things (merchants’ ROI, user experience and quality of content on our GoFood App and work to create (scalable data solutions that positively impact our business metrics). It’s our job to ensure that GFGM (GoFood growth and monetisation) runs seamlessly. Currently, we’re busy at work on various projects, including one about identifying the right customers to target for merchant funded promotions on GoFood.
While our team is based all over the region, we’re a tight-knit group who are bonded by two things: (learning and doing all it takes to burn the $ more efficiently for GoFood), and (mutual respect and empathy for team members) 🙌. For real - our weekly conversations range from (how to make sense of the numbers in our promotional campaign analysis sheets) to (which game to play in our next chill time session).
